I normally recommend that potty training should start at 2 years of age, when the child is ready. So please your child is still young. In some climes, potty training a child less than two years old is termed child abuse. Please don't let people's claim of potty training as early as 6 months deceive you.You have not done anything wrong. Wait till he/she is older. All the best.

An average newborn has a height of 50cm and it becomes 75cm at one year and about 77cm at age 2 years. Your baby's height may also a reflection of the height of your husband and you. Tall parents have tall children and vice versa.

AT BIRTH.....the BIRTH WEIGHT normally ranges from 2.5kg to 4.0kg
Any weight below 2.5 is LOW BIRTH WEIGHT
Any weight above 4.0kg is LARGE FOR AGE BIRTH WEIGHT or MACROSOMIC or BIG baby
After birth, Babies FIRST LOSE WEIGHT in the first 10 days.....before regaining their birth weight by the 14 day......
So it is not unusual or babies to lose weight first....Don't panic.....This is as a result of loosing fluids, inadequate feeds at the beginning and so on....but as the feeding become established they regain their birth weight at 2 weeks
Babies gain weight thereafter usually about 30g per day for term babies; 20g per day for preterm babies
That is roughly about 1kg per month for term babies and 600g per month for preterm babies

At that age, babies slow down with how fast they add weight. Especially when they become mobile. That said, as long as she's eating and she's healthy, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. She would pick up soon enough. It is also important to note that metabolism type and genetics play a huge role in weight gaining.
Yes, your baby is doing great.

* Should demonstrate a parachute reflex (flying out both hands when when the child is held upright and the baby’s body is rotated quickly to face forward (as in falling) with nice open hands.
