You can stop sterilization if you are using the regular plates,cups and spoon just wash well and allow to dry. But if you are using bottles or those sippy cups with difficult to wash tips, you should sterilize them.
Paediatricians generally do not approve the use of bottle for feeding because of the inherent danger of bacteria festering around the teat area due to improper cleaning. That is why spoon and cup is preferable.
You should introduce the use of feeding with plate, cup and spoon. Plates and cups are easier to clean and has no hiding place for germs. Our professionals discourage the use of bottle feeding due to challenges with cleaning especially the teat and despite sterilisation, bacteria can still hide in the bottle leading to infection.
Avent Phillip is good, that's what I use. Medela Feeding bottles are also good quality

U might need d help of a professional. They will help u detect ur reason(s) he's not sucking directly. Ur nipples will be checked, his sucking reflex will be assessed and positioning while trying to breastfeed him will be checked too and d problem will be solved accordingly.
