E.coli infection is usually from contamination of food and drinks e.g
unwashed hands after the use of the toilet as E.coli is usually bacteria found in the intestines and faeces. Usually, from the stool culture that shows the E.coli, the antibiotics appropriate (sensitivity) will also be listed.
If detected in a baby less than 6 months, exclusive breastfeeding should be continued no water and utmost hygiene should be maintained especially by regular handwashing’.
