What is the difference between SF and SS Sickle Cell babies and how does one care for them?My 3years old and 1 year have the same sickle Cell status - SF genotype

In some children with Sickle Cell anaemia the HbF levels may remain persistently high and thats why it is written as HbSF. However such a child is still SS (Sickle cell anaemia) but with high levels of HbF. It is a good thing though as such children are more protected against crisis and other complications of Sickle cell anaemia
