If someone have SS and gives drug and baby still having pains what I should do to reduce the pain?
It’s very important the child get registered with any of the sickle cell clinics for children at the general or teaching hospitals and ensure the child goes for the regular check up and health management and their are also routine drugs the child must take regularly as well.
When their is pain, give more water and fluids, give basic painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen but if pain persists despite these simple measures, you have to take the child to the hospital immediately for further treatment usually giving the fluids and analgesic into the veins
