Good evening mum's in the house, pls am 36 weeks 3days, a friend advice me to take castor oil, that is gd, pls I need on clarification

DONT TAKE CASTOR OIL!!! u will dilate and efface and gv birth at ur own pace! Castor oil has laxative effects. Labour is tiring already & yes u will poopoo just bfr ur baby comes out. Dont worsen it with castor oil so u dont poo too much n.loose too much strength dt u need fr pushing. Pls let's b guided. That it worked fr one dsnt meam it will work fr another.

Pls,forget about what your friends are saying,your routine drugs are you through with it, it may work for others but you don't know your body systems, whether you will start vomiting, if you take it. Pls listen to your doctors and midwives.

@castor oil is early to tk a 36weeks, pple tk it to facilitate labour. Dr asked my frnd to tk it when she passed jer due date. But if i may ask, why did she ask u to take it. Pls do not tk anytin unless dr advice u to.

Some re advise by their doctors to take it but why don't you ask your doctor first before taking it please but for the Castor oil is very good.
