We must understand that children are different individuals. All you need do is to keep breakables out of sight. Your baby is a only active and exploring.

I have a 15 month old too. I think you should take away every breakables from his reach. That way he can explore his environment without breaking things. I made everywhere as bare as possible but he still manages to climb so I guess it is the age.
