Hello mothers. Sometimes I wish babies could talk, they'll just shout 'mummy please leave me, it's enough oo!' You clean navel, clean ear, clean nose, clean inside anus, press my head, massage me with hot water, now you want to clean my 'clean tongue'. No need cleaning the tongue, it's just breast milk. When you drink fantastic or mirinda and your tongue turns orange, do you clean it ? I know we are just being caring, careful and observant, but....Let's not overdo it. Cheers

Breast milk will clear it naturally. But if you are very concern ask your doctor for zinc tablet it is safe and effective. Used it for my twin.

Exactly use warm water with little salt. I was told in the hospital to use it. Or better still leave it like that. It breast milk it as no negative effect.

U can use warm water with little salt with cotton wool or wash cloth(small soft baby handkerchief).

Isnt he too young? It will naturally clean itself. My 2nd baby is a 4month old and i have never cleaned his tongue. Its really not necessary but my mum said she used milton( the liquid for sterilizing bottles), dab on cottonwool , squeeze out completely then scrub tongue n teeth.. when baby is 6month old.
