As for me I started giving my baby formula from d very first day cos I delivered thru CS n I wasn't very sound after delivery. And when I got better Dr advised I should discontinued formula which I didn't. My son took formula from day 1 till he clocked 1year . He is doing perfectly great n bouncing.

Abeg,I recently shared my experience on a post I so much believe in EBF too ehn and my baby was always crying, she won't sleep and all that I was fed up but I just decided to do it for 3mnths b4 I start formula, wen she clocked 3mnths ehn na fly I fly go buy formula.d first day she slept frm 9am to 4 pm. My sister told me its not all babies that accepts EBF bt I wouldn't listen. They no teach me. If ur baby wants to be Intelligent she will and if not do EBF for 9mnths she will still be otherwise

I didn't do EBf but Four of my children are healthy,smart intelligent etc,so it depends, while some will be giving formula and water they will be lying,am in EBf.lols

Thank u my sis...many moms don't know dat baby r different... what works for A may not work for B..sametin happen to me when I gave birth...I believe so much in EBF not until when my boy won't stop crying, he started loosing weight, he will suck me from morning till nite not satisfied..I was so worried not until I took him back to hospital...I was told to introduce food to him, since then he has never disturb me again, he also gain weight from 3.1 to 4.8 within a month and he's very healthy
