Good evening doctors nurses and mothers pls I need quick response...my son has mild jaundice when I gave birth to him... It was discovered after 2days
@jojojo, the blood test didn't work out for my baby. Each time they run test every 5days, it shows that it increased and I put to bed in June when there's no morning sun instead the whether is cold. I could not use the morning sun. I used glucose. When I press his face and it's not yellow, I concluded that it's no longer there.
Jaundice level should always be checked by a blood test then the level of the jaundice will determine the appropriate treatment.
Most jaundice should clear within 2 weeks if properly treated. Any jaundice persisting more than that is called prolonged jaundice and usually due to some disease conditions. If any baby is still jaundiced at 4 weeks, see a Paediatrician urgently.
If your doctor says you baby is cured of jaundice, trust me your baby is fine
