Gudam docs n mums in d house.pls is 36weeks considered full term also for delivery. I was diagnosed of hbp n gestational diabetes n am admitted but it's bin controlled. was told dt I will 've cervical ripening. pls how safe is it?and is it also painful as inducing .tnx

Cervical ripening is a better option for you. That's what the doctor did for me when I delivered my son. The process is simple. They will insert sth(have forgotten the name) into your vagina, once the thing come out by it self, labour start immediately but if it did not, you will be placed on drips and that one b4 you finish a drip labour will start. Don't worry within 24 hrs you will have your baby
