@Omolade19270, i get ur point but that's if d site is well apposed, if its not well apposed, there might be need for resturing when d site is clean and infection free. I've seen many cases where they come back for resturing when d site refused to appose on time. That's y i insisted she sees her doc to assess d site again after trying d seat baths for a while.

@Omolade, my sister thnk God my MIL knws me dt am a talking parrot & not afraid to voice my opinion on things dt are personal or matter most to me and funny enough dts one of d reasons she likes mi so much. She says i dont kip anythin in my mind. Am jus rlly feeling for our sister right now cuz i knw how dat tear can pain now coupled with d fact its not healing. Mtscheww. My body is jus peppering me.

@Khalli, you're right o, I feel we wives especially young ones tend not to want to counter our mother-in-laws when they come for omugwo. But you have to tell them what you want, most of my friends have one issue or the other caused by not talking.

Like sis Ayodeji said dt wire used in sowing us does not evn like heat talkless of hot water. Evn d sitz bath d water is always warm with salt. Pls go to d hospital cuz our vagina is an easy spot for easy and fast way to get infection. Sorry my dear sister. No one can imagine wot yu going tru. Pele. Yu will b fine.

Pls pls pls. If you know wot ur mother inlaw is doing is not right in ur mind pls lets always voice out our opinion pls. Imagine wot this lady is going tru now. Chai!. My advice is before any sitz bath or wotsoever, go to an hospital preferably a general. Explain everything from top to bottom to d doc. Anything said or given to you use dem judiciously

@Ayodeji15861, I'm not sure they resuture at all times o. Bc I remember when I was scared that some rope were coming out of the place I had episiotomy, the nurses said it was healing and that if it tears or something, they wouldn't suture it again, that it'd be like that. I was surprised. SIS, just continue with warm water, purit and plenty of salt, if you can, do it 3 three times a day. That really helped me in healing fast

If d sight is infected, there will definitely be need for antibiotics, i will suggest u get a savlon lotion, add it to lukewarm water and use it wash down after using d toilet, if with this it doesnt still heal, u will still need to see ur doc, there might need for resuturing.

I suggest you go back so that your doctor can examine the spot again. Post partum hot water bath isn't even for every woman . My brother wife never used hot water. Her mum said if we use hot water, she won't heal up. All she did was sitz bath...warm drinks and ordinary water for pressing and massaging her body just like they do with hot water. She has 5 healthy children and she's doing well too.

U were not suppose to use hot water in d first place, d suture used melts with d use of hot water which makes it breakdown. I'd suggest u go back to d hospital, let them see it again.
