My dear enfamil is very nice,that's what my baby took and but I started giving her aptamil from 6months and she has been very fast in all things,at 11 she is talking and running round and she grew teeth at 4mnths dot

@Amaka I tried enfamil and my boy finished under 2 weeks I had to run as fast as I could to sma pro milk, I don't regret d decision, its better than enfamil

yea@pat but is very good it can last for 2months depends on how ur baby eat for me I love the milk it is giving me what I want just that my baby is not the type that eat much due we are just 7 weeks old

A lot of formula also contain prebiotics. I know about Nan and Thrive signature. Others might have but these are the two I know.

d bad bacteria multiply in seconds so its good that ur baby has a constant supply of prebiotics to keep d probiotics/useful bacteria in the GIT alive and doing their job of killing d harmful bacteria

that's why its good that you soaK your pap for up to 3days to ferment very well bfr grinding. D fermentation process is good as it breeds good bacteria needed for ur baby's gastrointestinal tract.

@chida, good bacteria can come from probiotics and fermentated prdcts. Probiotics from probotic pills,formula containing probiotics AND/OR fermented prdcts like pap& yogurt.

Errr. probiotics are useful bacteria that the body needs to ward off the harmful bacteria in the digestive system. when the harmful bacteria is more than the good bacteria, one can come down with diarrhoea in particular. So d body needs a constant supply of good bacteria,especially when babies start crawling and picking all sorts into their mouth. Their immune system needs to be strong,and a good gastrointestinal tract with constant supply of good bacteria also known is essential.

You can do NAN1(2k plus in Ibadan) or thrive signature(3,500 in ibadan). They are fair in price. Sma is good but sm babies react with constipation (my baby did). if you want sthg higher, you can do cow&gate or aptamil. they are all good,depending on ur pocket. My baby takes Thrive signature and he is 9months old. There are cheaper brands like lactogen & my boy milk. However,they dont contain probiotics&prebiotics. Cheers
