Since he is 5months already u ave to help him, by placing him on his Tommy, by the of walker, carry him in such a way that he will carry his head. For the issue of sitting down, don't worry he will still sit, stop carrying him too much, when you are less busy sit him down, den massage his waist when he is tired, support him with something else he will get hurt when he fell down
