@juliet its better to start traditional soap and cream for babies so dt by d time yu introduce all this foreign soaps and cream to them their skin would ve bin toughend up and dey wont be reacting anyhow to them. For me wen i gave birth i mixed black soap( the one which is just grounded dry not d one which is mixed with water and all sorts oo)i mixed d black soap with pure honey, camwood ( d yoruba name for it is ósuņ) & a bit of coconut oil . Dats wot i used as her soap.

@ juliet its better to mix with coconut oil you made urself or if you cant get ALEXIAL coconut oil. Its a very good coconut oil.

@ juliet d ones sold in shoprite is good cuz its very fluffy wen yu scoop it to use and smooth wen yu rub it together in ur palm. Dont bother to melt it on d fire or whatsoever. Just buy and mix with coconut oil straight up. It is withe small container with babies drawn around it

@precious a light skin baby can use it. See d beauty and many wonders of shea butter is dat as yu are using it, it gradually brings out a baby's true complexion without any sides effect. If d baby is goin to b dark you would see it as yu use and if a baby is going to be a light skinned you wld also see it.

@julie yes i mixed it with coconut oil and i started using it on my baby after a week she was born. I used just d coconut oil for her d followin day i was discharged and she was brought home. A week after i started d shea butter and coconut oil mixture. I even use it as her hair cream too!! Up till date. And shez two months plus and i intend to continue using it

You can also get shea butter in Justrite, Shoprite,. Its rlly wonderful. Dats wot ve bin using since i gave birth 2months ago mixed with original coconut oil. The shea butter sold in shoprite and justrite is d normal traditional shea butter iust dt it is well packaged. You nid to see my baby skin. I use it virtually for everything for her and it works!! Either for Ela, Alefo, Eczema, heat rashes etc evn as her diaper cream. It works wonders on her skin.

I started using Shea butter. Coconut oil, palm kernel oil and sesame oil when my baby was 1month. U need to see her skin is super shining and smooth. Since I started using it nothing like rashes again

U can mix it like that. But if u don't want ur baby to be dark u fry the ori and mix it with the coconut oil

U don't need to heat it, just mixed it with the coconut oil very well. U don't av to wait till six month but not immediately after birth. I started using it on my baby 3 weeks after birth. My aunt was using powder to massage my baby b4 we started using the coconut oil mixed with uri.
