Good morning mummies and doctors. I'm 14weeks pregnant and I was told I'm overweight. My weight before pregnancy was 56kg but now I'm 75kg. Is it something I should worry about and if it is, what can I take to slim down?

Eat healthy as advised and engage in physical activities not vigorous exercises. Also check your blood sugar level, both fasting and postprandial to rule off gestational diabetes. It is well mam

Please, don't start running n doing heavy exercise oo. Ask a physiotherapist on a pregnancy safe exercise n eat more of vegetables n fresh fruits.
