How old is he/she? It could be Teething, I read somewhere that when they tug their ears frequently, those little teeth could be around the corner, and it was so true with my son be continued like that till the whites eventually showed up. In the other view, doc said it could be ear infection but he was checked and he doesn't have an infection. So... Maybe Teething.
