Apply 'Bond' to the spot,dont massage oh.Bond is a red ointment in a red container.i bought mine at the health centre and the matron told me to use it and it worked perfectly

my baby is going through same thing , but I used warm water the 1st day that was on Thursday and I apply baby mentholated bam on his lap . the next morning his leg has swollen up so they advised me to use ice block and Shea Butter and its working for me

Since the vaccine had been given since last week the only option is the warm water while giving your baby a bath rubbing mentholated balm on it. Even if you add pressure on it, it won't make the vaccine ineffective.

The cold water would ease the pain, its when pressure is added while using the cold water that it will solidify blood flow but the aim is to ease pain no mater what is used on the legs. After 24 hours of the vacine then you can bath your baby normally using your warm water because the vacine would have spread round the body and not on one spot as it was when the vacine was given.

You can use a napkin soaked in cold water and place on it without adding pressure on it or cold pure water on the spots without pressure then use baby mentholated balm on the laps without massaging it. Try to avoid pressing or adding pressure on the spot or using hot water to massage it.

@Olamiposi16834, if u want 2 use iceblock, it's fine too but wrap it with a towel. Whichever works out for u. For me, it didnt work. It only mad d lap swollen and strong. And wen I spoke 2 a nurse she said most times dey advice not too hot water and towel, and I tried but n d not too hot water worked perfectly well for me. So my dear, u can try any of d two

@Olayiwola20357, yh, that's wat I did during my time. Dats wat most nurses will tell u. Cold water dnt forget will only calm d place but on d other hand solidify blood flow. It's like takin cold water wen u having menstrual cramps. Wen u take hot water it helps d blood come out easily. My own opinion though. And it worked for me

Hot water keh....get ice block n place on it gently or apply ori..be warn do not use hot water or press d swollen site

Just apply a Lil pressure on d swollen lap using hot water, not to hot n towel. Dnt press 2 hard. Just put it on d surface for some few minutes. Repeat 3-4 times in d morning and at night
