I asked same question in antenatal when i was pregnant. But when i was in labour i need no one to tell me that i was contracting. When labour start you yourself will know.

It comes like mensural pains, holds ur lower abdomen, to ur waist, back and ur stomach becomes very strong for some mins. My dear when the original contraction comes, u will know becus u can not remember u hv a phone
