Even if you use antibiotics to cure the discharge, it would return provided you breastfeed in an appropriate position.

by sitting up and raising the head of your baby a little in order for him to digest his meal properly and ensure to burp him as well. You might not notice the damage caused as a result of wrong positioning now but you will surely notice it soonest. I did same for a week and noticed blocked nose along with ear discharge i started treating it blaming it on ear infection and cold but it was my wrong positioning that caused it

It's not advisable. You know babies are sensitive and you might try it and nothing may go wrong with your baby whilst another baby may have problems as a result of breastfeeding while lying down. Your baby may have stinky brown coloured discharge from his ears as a result of breastfeeding in a such a position. Your baby might not be able to properly digest his meal as a result your can throw up more often than expected. I suggest you breastfeed properly

I do it all d time,but while doing it,be very cautious so as not to block d babies nose with d breast
