Congratulations sis, we gave birth same day. Try get Lansinoh nipple cream nd use. If u can pump into a bottle to stop direct breast feeding for a while so as to get heal nd reposition ur baby to latch well.

This happened to me as well, even with proper latch. I just had to endure and in a couple of days, the pain subsided. If you have cracks anyways, try the milk rubbing suggested by Esther or consider getting a nipple cream. Congrats

The pain is a result of your baby not latching well on ur nipples... please anytime your breastfeeding Make sure your baby's mouth covers your ariola not just the nipples ..you can go online and read about how to breastfeed so ul learn more.. for the pain.. anytime your baby finish sucking, press ur nipples for little milk to come out n then rub it around your nipples and allow it to air dry before covering the breasts, it will heal up... Congrats on your baby
