Question

Hello mums and Docs. Pls i wanna know the right time to start washing a baby's mouth and what are we supposed to use?. My own baby is 3months. Thanks

If your baby’s tongue has an awful smell or has a white patch on it then use 100% pure Glycerine with a face towel or cotton wool, if it's for the gum especially when he is teething you can use cotton wool soaked in warm water and a pinch of salt this is to prevent infection on the soars due to the new teeth. But if it's the mouth you are worried about please let the mouth be he is still a baby and on exclusive breastfeeding.

You can start as soon as the first tooth is out with soft bristle brush and rice- size baby toothpaste. If you Google, that's​what you will see

Is ur baby's mouth smelling? Please leave the baby alone b4 u wound him or her those gummy thinks u see is breast milk it would clear wit time. I was worried too wen I saw my baby thoug dirty so I tried with a small towel to clean it blood started coming out I was scared I almost cried before my sister saw it and said I should leave it that it clear and now his tongue is very clean. Jus telling u my experience Sha.

Mouth or tongue?abeg leave that baby,God knows what he did,baby's mouth don't smell. Or use baby handkerchief when bathing the baby.
