You can try punishment, but not the olden days vigorous punishment ooo. Communicate with him as advised and anytime he misbehave, deprive him of what he likes e.g anytime I want to deal with my son, I cut him off all his hobbies I.e no cartoon on TV and no phone (mine) to play game, till he is sober
