Good morning mummy and doc am pregnant of 3monthd and I have bleeding and my doctor say my placenta is lying low.am worried

I had same issue but i delivered through c-s. For the bleeding it will stop. I bleeded till eight months but nothing happened to me. Just make ur doctor ur friend and be prayerful too. It calls for God intervention. Get more closer to God

I had same low lying placenta when my pregnancy was 19 weeks, it shifted and i gave birth normally. Except you are telling me that the sonographer didnt know what he was saying

Hmmm...placenta doesn't go up as pregnancy progresses, wherever it attaches during conception, it remains there except if God's miracle happens. I will just advise that u take a lot of rest, don't be far from ur doctor in case of any complain and since its low lying, u might need to deliver ur baby via C/S...not scarring u but trying to prepare ur mind just in case...The condition is called Placenta praevia, there are four types, with type 3 and 4, vaginal delivery is not possible, with type 2, it is a little bit possible and vaginal delivery with type 1 is common so it depends...Discuss with ur doctor and ask question...All d best!
