Morning Madam, congratulations, your baby jerks is likely to be NORMAL as most babies do, if there are no other associated features like upward rolling of the eyes or abnormal blinking of eyes or smacking of the lips. If you find any of the listed association quickly see a paediatrician. For the catarrh , breastfeed as much as possible as breast milk is rich in substances needed to fight what may b responsible for the catarrh, also rich in vit C and . If symptoms persist see a doctor(paediatrician).
