Abiodun has said it all. We were told that the pus can be infectious, I so you need to clean it up and dispose it properly.

I saw it on my baby's arm too wen he was exactly two month, I cleand it with cotton bud and it dried b4 d day runs out

We were told at the clinic that this is normal, but you need to clean with cotton wool and preboiled water and dispose carefully so as not to spread infection
