Ayomide said it all. You have to be patient. Most babies lose their umbilical cord in the first few weeks of life while it could take up to 8 weeks old but If it remains longer than 8 weeks (2 months).There may be an issue. You should see your baby's doctor or pediatrician as soon as possible.

It depends, atimes it could take 5 days to a week or even more! How u take care of ur baby's cord also has a role to play!
