Should I be worried if the stool is watery but baby strains before passing it? He is on EBF

Normal stool for a baby is yellowish and with seed like egunsi. If it is not sinking completely into the diaper, the stool is normal.
On straining, your baby is probably having colic, it should resolve on its own without any treatment.
It usually starts a few weeks after birth and often improves by age 3 months. By ages 4 to 5 months, the majority of babies with colic have improved.
But should the pains become so severe, you should see a paediatrician.

How old is your baby ma'am? And by watery, do you mean it sinks into the diaper like urine?
