Vaginal Discharge Please my friend daughter is 3yrs
old, she is having vaginal discharge since 4
days ago, and was taken to a chemist shop where she was giving ciproflacin & flagyl as at yesterday dead worm was coming out, I already told her to take her daughter to the hospital but I want to know what could possibly cause that?
And a swab
needs to be taken. Also their is need to find
out if the child is sticking any foreign objects
into her vagina. Any itching associated with
it? Personal hygiene is very important.
The child needs to see a doctor
The commonest cause of vaginal discharge
in children is VAGINITIS due to POOR
HYGIENE. Mums should ENSURE our GIRLS
CHANGE THEIR PANTIES DAILY, BUY
COTTON PANTIES THAT CAN BREATHE
AND MORE IMPORTANLTY TEACH GIRLS
HOW TO WIPE/CLEAN UP AFTER USING
THE TOILET. IT SHOULD BE FRONT TO
BACK AND PREFERABLY IF AT HOME USE
WATER AS SOME KIDS CAN REACT TO
TOILET ROLL AND AFTERWARDS
FREQUENT HAND WASHING. MOST
IMPORTANTLY, BE SURE THEIR IS NO
SEXUAL ABUSE ONGOING.
