@Osezele, thank you dear, I pump and give him, he can suck very well from the feeding bottle. So I pump and give him but I still want him to suck directly from the breast.

Also chk n b sure he is lacting right. Chk his tongue too to be sure its not tied. Tongue tie affects breastfeeding. Chk his tongue & corners if d cheek fr whtish stuff to rule out thrush. Thrush can alsi make breastfeedung difficult for babies. I hope all these help? Cheers mummy #smiles#

@licia, oh dear... stop to sleep or stop n stay awake? Wats ur definition of much? Here's how u know if he's taking enuf. Express 30mls see if he finishes it in one feed, if he does,express 60mls fr d next feeding, if he finishes,up d quantity by d next feed. I doubt he will finish 60mls sha he's a,newborn. Dt will let u know d quantity his stomach can take per time. So if he removes his mouth without sleeping off (as most newborns do) then he's satisfied
