@abubakar, lying down to breastfeed is one of the position of breastfeeding and if it's bad, it would have been ruled out

@maria sometime it affects and mind you the fact that nothing happen to your child don't mean is okay to lie down and breastfeed baby is not a good habit alot of things can happen please stop the habit may God always protect us

I think you should go see a pediatrician. My first baby had that same issue at 4-6 weeks and his doc gave us antibiotics.

It's nothing serious cos it happened to my baby at 1 month plus too, the doctor I should observe him that if it persist I should bring him but it stopped on its own. Just clean the ear and observe him for a day or two, if it persist pls take him/her to the hospital.

Just continue to observe your baby for any other symptoms like fever, signs of feeling pains when his ear is touched and report to the hospital if such occurs

Lying down to breastfeed is not the cause cos that's what I do throughout the night when feeding my baby and he's 6 month old now with no such.

I ve such Problem with my baby cos we are now 1 month plus so I took him to the hospital and the doctor said it will stop that it will be from the water going into their ears when bathing, and of a truth my just stop and is not coming out of my baby ears again,so it could be water we have to be extra careful thanks.

Do u lie down to breast feed, if yes pls stop. It is d cause. If no, pls visit ur doc immediately.
