But then when cold water gets into ur system it automatically takes the temperature of d inner body. If u stay where they kill chicken or goat for instance u find out d inner part is hot... So DAT applies to man. Again ur baby is cushioned in d convenience of the amniotic fluid so how can a cup of glass water turn DAT warm amniotic fluid to cold water.... One question have u ever urinated a cold urine?

@marie, for labor its true but its not like its d child d water will affect.. d cold water will cool ur nerves thereby suspending labor for a while

It is not good to take cold water when u are in labour, rather take hot water, u will c the difference. Hot water helps in contraction
