Just be patient with him, child grow differently especially for the male child, most of them don't sit until 5month and above. Don't panic just be patient and observe him closely.

Maybe he is a unique child who wants to crawl before sitting but definitely he will sit soon. Let him explore. Keep placing him on the floor and put toys at his front and watch him explore
