There are many causes of abdominal pain,it is best you see a paediatrician for proper evaluation and treatment.

The best thing to do is to see a paediatrician for thorough evaluation. Their are many causes of abdominal pain in children ranging from mild to serious causes. The commonest cause is constipation. Others are many ranging from peptic ulcer disease to food allergies e.t.c.

As regards the stuffy nose, most cold and cough both in children and adults are caused by viruses which will run their course with or without any medication.
On what to do... 1. keep baby warm: if there is fever Please uncover the baby and give paracetamol in appropriate dose or Tepid sponge to bring the temperature down. 2. You can do steam inhalation with your baby (both mother and baby or father and baby). Never leave baby alone on steam inhalation. If nose is congested, you can give saline drop in each nostrils to help decongestant the nostril. 3. If you have a room heater, you can use it to make breathing easier for your baby. 4. Continue breastfeeding baby exclusively.

A breastfeeding mom needs to eat well nourishing balanced diet. She should only avoid foods and spices that make her baby fussy or show allergic reactions. So if plantain make your baby fussy or show allergic reaction, then avoid it but if it does not you can go ahead and have it.
The only thing she needs to clearly avoid is taking unprescribed medication.

Hello mom. Since you have not noticed any improvement after administering the drugs, kindly take your child back to the doctor for follow up.
