This is why I like our igbo style, ur mum will do ur omugbo not mother-inlaw except ones mum is late, or u choose ur mother-inlaw if she treats u like daughter. I advice u use wisdom and discuss with ur husband, he should be able to listen to u and protect u, that's if his mother is discomforting u if not who knows how long she will be around that u have to pretend like all is well.

am with Agnes , ur husband can not ask his mum to leave. moreso ur husband stylishly told ur his mum will take a while. my opinion, let her be. her presence doesn't stop ur mum frm coming around. ur mum can spend a night or 2 . yr siblings can also come around. Wen ur mother inlaw sees u are nit alone, she will cut her stay.

My dear your husb can't tell his mum to go o take it or u leave it. I would advice u to bear with her cos highest she will stay is 3 months n if u have a younger sis invite her to help u. Get up n care for ur kids ....like that she may leave otherwise don't create problem for urself.

My dearie sist pls if she there & she is really extending a helping hands, not just sitting & watching u do almost everything pls let her be, cos u might approach ur hubby & he will take it d other way round depending on their closeness anyways, before u know it, it will start rising dust at home. We understand that in most cases she can never do what ur mum will do for 'u' . But to overcome dis all u need is patients, tolerance, & understanding her, gudluck & care of ur wonderful twins ok!

I feel you should let her be o,guess she's just trying to help,,if u tell hubby,he might feel u don't want he's mum around,so just try and be cool with her

Err... u hv to find a good time to tell him that they should be rotating. With time, try to.get in a live-in helper. It appears normal fr her to stay fr a while bcos u had twins. U need lots of help. However, when she sees you are up n about doing most thgs yourself, she might want to go back home.
