Is it OK to breastfeed my baby while we both laying down especially when she feels sleepy

Its best to lie down wen breastfeeding ur baby coz if u're sitting down n you're feeling sleepy, the baby might mistakenly fell frm ur hand, so its best while lying down n while lying down you must take pre caution not to close ur baby nose with ur breast.

Lie on your side, with a pillow or two to support your head. A pillow between your knees may help you feel comfortable. Position the baby, lying on his side, so his nose is level with your nipple. (If your breasts are on the smaller side, you may need a firm pillow under the baby to bring her up level with your nipple.) With one hand, bring the baby in close to you so that her chin is touching your breast and her head is tipped back a bit.

I do it especially when I'm extremely tired. I set my baby in a position where the breast can't cover his nose and not too close to me such that if I fall deeply asleep he will be safe... Goodluck Sis

I do it but you just have to be very careful and take your position well in case you sleep off. Body no be stone not even when you have a baby that always want breast to be in her mouth.

It is not safe, your breast may even block the babies's nose while sucking without you knowing, it is very risk.

It is risky. But the risk mentioned above though right, not only happens when we breast feed. It could happen when we rJust sleeping with the baby. So if you want to do it, pls take note. For me, I lie down to feed n I'm conscious not to fall asleep. Browse for suggested positions and practice them. You will also see the advantage.
