ok...there is a line inside d thermometer...the line is called mercury line before using, make sure d line is below 36 degree C, hold d thermometer firmly and shake well, this will make d line reduce...so apply under a dry armpit, make sure d tip is under d armpit and leave it there for a minute, u can hold ur baby's arm to achieve that! The number at which d mercury line ends is d temperature! Anything above 37.6 is high except in hot afternoon, it could be as high as 37.7 without any problem...

This is not easy too use if u are not a professional except u are taught...go back to d hospital, tell them to teach u...i can explain how to use it here but u might not get it!
