It also depend on your baby's neck stability. For babies whose neck hasn't hold at all, carrier shouldn't be use except there is additional neck support in the carrier. I started using mine with my baby @7wks cus her neck don stable wella then. We rock it @our 1st outing post delivery at the mall and she slept throughout, lol

It depends on d weight of d baby... Most carrier indicate from what weight to wat weight.
