Good morning all. Please I want to know what I can do to my episiotomy site. I did sit bath and all. It's not healing up at all. I have taken 2packs

Same here but me I'm healed its just an offensive odor that I'm perceiving down there... I had to start d sit bath again ds evening.... Has anyone experienced such cos I don't like what is happening down there

Thanks my lovely mummies. I have been to the hospital @6weeks. I was asked to continue with the sit bath and Augmentin. I will go and see them again..thanks all First I battled with walking well.

Is lukewarm water oh pls. Just act according to Olori Oduneye n see ur Dr. Always take ur time to sit down even if is paining u.Its well with u.

Please lukewarm water o not hot please.Also remember to add your dettol and salt to the water and sit for at least 10-15mins,2x a day. Also,allow breeze to reach your vagina once in a while

Gradually it will go bt u need to keep sitting on d hot water. Make sure d water is hot, it very painful bt u jst have to bear it. I had abt 4 stitches, my baby is jst 4weeks, bt i am 95% healed.

Episiotomy hardly heals oo in people that delivered big baby viginally. U just have to be Patience with it o, my sis had same issue and it really took several months b4 she healed well cos her baby was huge o.

That's almost 3 months... Please see your doc for assessment, he will be able to tell you the reason for delayed healing and also proffer solution!
