In normal cycle of 28days, ovulation is 14days from the start date on your menstruation. That's let's say your menstruation started 1st of September, the 14th of September is supposed to be your ovulation (for 28days cycle) but you are fertile from the 11th day to the 16th day, sometimes ovulation comes earlier or late. So women are advised to try within these days. For 30days cycle n more, divide it by two n use the same idea above.
