@Nkem Ojems I beg to disagree with the advice on giving abidec. @1 month, your baby is still too young for you to start self medication if your doctor hasn't prescribed it. If you have any worries about your baby's weight, see d doctor. They're in the best position to advise. All the best sis.

@Okafor18004, abidec is 0.3ml maximum daily dose for under 1 year, its boldly stated on the pack, lets avoid overdose in a quest to gain rapid weight. Eat balance rich diet and try to breastfeed every 2hrs even when the baby aint crying. She will pick up in due course

My baby was 2.4 at 40weeks birthweight I didn't give any multivitamin but breastfeed her seriously during d day I give every one and hours cos it takes about 90mins to digest breastmilk. And I make sure she doesn't go for 3hours without breast milk at night

My dear eat as many concoctions as you can eg: enough Palp with soya bean and milk, tea and so many other foods. Then give her abidec.she will add.my baby weigh the same thing.but was 5.7kg as at 14weeks and we are on our 16weeks now. Hope she has added another. So help your daughter now.

Give Abidec 0.3ml every morning and feed as demanded also let her sleep as much as she wants to. Don't worry so long as she's healthy.
