Don't apply anything, let the ring fall off on its own. Don't make the diaper tight. Keep cleaning the navel every 2hrs with cotton wool and spirit

No penicillin yet until d rubber ring drops. What I was told to do ws put 2drops of olive oil at each diaper change. After d rubber ring drops, u can now apply penicillin.

Do not apply anything until the plastic removes. Its after the plastic removes dat u apply pennicillin or blue seal vaseline. Welldone !...for the navel,continue cleaning it with methylated spirit and cottonwool for a little while

Pls don't apply anytin until d ring has fallen off. If u do, d place becomes slippery n d ring just slip tru without doing its job. Double cry for dat child cos he will wear again. Wen cleaning his navel, also clean d place gently wt cotton wool n spirit. Don't let soap go there too. Wen d ring falls u can now use blue seal. Don't stress ur self wt too much put dis n dat so u won't intro infection. He will be fine.
