I was once queried of PCOS as a teenager. And was told will need inducement of ovulation before conceiving but God so good i got preg on my own after losing weight (more than 10%) abt 15kg lose.

I just got an information that the large majority of women with PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome, that have not gotten pregnant with other treatments will be able to get pregnant and have a baby with IVF (in vitro fertilization) if they are under 40 and do their IVF at a high quality clinic.

I have a colleague of mine that was diagnosed with mild Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (POCS) she is 5months pregnant now. She was prescribed a drug called Clomiphene citrate (Clomid or Serophene) and exercise which helped her to induce ovulation. I guess the mild one can easily be treated because it is genetic.
