Afternoon doc's and mummies in the house...
Please how true is that Brest milk might not be enough for a 3month old baby? And more so how can I i
It is not 100% true. Weigh ur baby every 2 weeks with thesame scale, if he or she gains weight, d milk is enough. Breastfeed ur baby every 2 hours or on demand, empty one breast before putting him or her to d other. To increase ur breastmilk supply, drink water often especially after breastfeeding, eat healthy, take fluid diets+ milk e.g oatmeal, pap and custard.
According to WHO, breastmilk can be enough for up-to 6 months. Unless you notice your baby isn't getting enough, not gaining weight as required and probably crying, you are on cue. As for me, what works is hot drink. From Lipton, to Milo, to occasional coffee, to complete tea. I also pump, thus making my body produce even more than enough. Good luck mooma
