Happy Sunday!
I stand to be corrected on this.
I think the cause of ella on babies body could be the herbs giving to them before they are 3mon
The cause of the 'Ela' is hygiene, clothes, nappies/diapers, infections or family disposition in the case of allergies. The cure depends on the root cause. If we are talking about nappy rash: you air your baby's bum a few times a day without using diaper. You use a skin protector for the bum like vaseline or shea butter as the case maybe. And to help with healing of the rash, sudocream does a great job because it has zinc oxide which helps with skin regeneration. If it is allergic, it will be found out that, avoiding the irritant will reduce or stop the skin irritation. The red acalypha which is commonly known as red plant, that is popularly described here has been found through medical research to be good for dermatitis. And if you look at the Nigerian organic or natural market today, you will find many skincare products especially for babies have this plant in their composition.
I beg to differ as an individual. I use herbs for my baby even as doctor and he has the smoothest, cleanest and a really healthy skin. "Ella" as you say it, is a form of skin problem like dermatitis and has nothing to do with herbs. If a baby's skin isn't looking healthy as a result of a herb, perhaps it could be a reaction and the child is sensitive to it. I have seen babies who use all the "healthier" products as opposed to "herbs" and still have the worst skins. Herbs are leaves I know in my garden and use. However this is my opinion with years of experience.
It's not as a result of herbs. My babe is six months old he has never taken herbs neither have I but he started having ela at four months. I suspected it was as a result of sweat. So module is right.
