My daughter is 6 months old, and she usually brings out her tongue since she was 4 month plus. Please what does that mean?
There is something called a tongue-thrust reflex that babies 4-6months can develop. It looks like they are bringing out or chewing their tongues but instead, they are showing readiness for solid foods. It's a reflex that helps them push out solid food to avoid choking. So its not a problem, your baby is doing really great and the phase would soon pass.
It could be one of the common childhood habits. If you are worried, kindly see a paediatrician for evaluation.
