When time is best to perform circumcision for a baby? Can it be left till a child is older or immediately after birth?

It's best done immediately the cord has fallen off.

If there is no reason why you are delaying, it is better done early usually, a week after birth, be sure you are seeing an expert, a known certified matron or a doctor, ensure they examine the child and the penis before circumcision. It is usually an easy procedure and well tolerated by most MALE children. DO NOT Circumcise Female children. All the best ma.
