I'm a FTM of a 3days old, my breasts are heavy and sore, I have been squeezing into feeder for her, she's not sucking directly because it is in drop

Yes its ur baby sucking that will heal it just bear the pain cos it is, but within a short while it will heal

Madam, goan get breast pump u ye. clogged milk ducts is not a nice experience. If ur nipple is sore,its ur babya mouth that will heal it. No need to apply anythg. Sore nipple is caused by poor latching. If u dnt understand me, watch breastfeeding videos on YouTube to visually understand proper latching. sore nipple will b history.

She should buy nipple cream n apply it n also follow chida Glitaz advised. While u r preg he is supposed to have suck it well before now ...so he can still do it better now. @ Charity all na milk n is good for hubby as well as d baby.

The aim is to make it rush... My guess is dat u hv noticed only few drops comes out so d options u hav is to clean (even doh u ought to av started since ) or hubby sucks as i heard so dat d holes are open.

Av u tried cleaning ur nipples? Doz whitish/ milky substance do block d flow of breast milk. Better yet if hubby is around he can help suck open d nipples for baby to suck

You have to suckle your baby directly o.You may think it's not coming out well but your baby's sucking will definitely bring out what she needs even if you have to feed for lengthy period.Yes,it may hurt but you have to bear it to avoid having blocked milk ducts. And as your baby empties out the breast,the heaviness will relieve you

@Olamiposi16834, I agree with u ma. My nipple was sore too but the baby mouth healed it. Just keep giving ur baby the breast it will be well

Keep giving your baby to suck directly. The sourness and pain will go... Don't worry baby will suck out the milk she needs... You may have to nurse for long for her to be full but keep doing it..... ☺
