Pls my dear do cos it's not something to explain it's better experienced when they are doing it u watch. Besides ur baby may be crying and u r bathing urself or inside toilet or busy in the kitchen how will u cope doing so many things at the same time it won't be easy, u diffinately need a helping hand

How can I forget, Mk sure water is hot, n Mk like ur trying to do a lill massage like pressing small small around d body wt d wash cloth soaked in d hot water before u start bathing d baby.

Wen done wt d head u pour soap on d body n bkful around d cord. Use ur palm to wash n tk water again from d wcloth to rinse. Turn babe on his tummy n repeat same den quickly wrap baby up in his large towel. Oil baby den use spirit n cotton wool to clean d cord appropriately. Wear baby cloth feed n put to sleep. Always ensure d room is warm. Close windows n off Ac o fan. I Ve tire to type. Good luck n safe delivery, Cheers.

Our swt mums Ve said it all. U cud even discuss wt d midwife dat seems friendly, d do it. U discuss d amt before u leave d Hospital. But if ur abroad dat dos kind of services r expensive, dis is how it goes:use a chair if u don't Ve a low stool,sit n put ur legs in d bath. Start from d head. Bend d head bkwards n gently use ur wash cloth to tk water n rinse d soap out. Clean d face n don't pour water not allow babe to breathe in d soap.

Mothers have said it all plz look for an elderly person because you need enough hot water massage so that the remaining bad bloods can flow out after delivery and that of your baby's cord need an experience treatment cos you are a FTM. Wish you safe delivery.

U will need sum1 around to help u out.....u can get an elderly midwife from d hospital...or from ur church or a trusted neighbour.

All have it you and your hubby have to Start making plans now on who will help you if your mother and mother In-law are not coming immediately or one of then have to arrived at your place before delivery please don't risk your health and that of baby please make adequate preparation I don't have a mother but I have made plans on who will assist me already because I can't do it all alone you also need who will massage your body too is well God will see you thru.

Involve those people that are around you. U can as well get matured nanny dt will come daily to care for your baby and also do your house chores. Ur waist and body needs enough rest. Don't risk ur health, take care.

My dear it is best u engage someone at least for few days even if it is d nurse, Or an elderly neighbour. Aside u won't be dat strong yet. But u can watch while an experienced person do it

Apart from that you ve to b extra careful around the head so that uneccesary water do not enter d baby's nose so that dey wont choke. Secondly b careful around d umblical cord

My dear, its not that hard buh sweetheart truth be told u cant do it urself. You will be tired from the delivery process and will need plenty rest evn if is for just a day which i knw its not evn enough for you. And evn if u could ur feelings for ur baby wont allow yu bathe him/her well cuz yu will be pitying d baby when he/she is crying profusely
