Treating of infection while breastfeeding I wish to ask if it is safe to use canesten pessaries/ insertion while breastfeeding. I notice that I am having virginal itching. Or is there any better suggestion for me. I will really appreciate it. Thank you.

Canesten is an Antifungal. Pessaries are safe to use during pregnancy and are also safe for the mother to use if the baby is being breastfed. There have been no recorded harmful effects on the unborn in animal or human studies when creams or pessaries have been used. But I will suggest you ask your doctor because your situation might be unique. Take care.
